Real Madrid eyeing Nicolas Otamendi
Real Madrid showing interest in Man City’s Nicolas Otamendi.
The transfer gossips are in full swing and Nicolas Otamendi to Real Madrid is the newest addition there.
Our sources suggest that Real Madrid may move for Nicolas Otamendi in the summer as a replacement for Pepe who will be joining Chinese Super League side-Hebei China Fortune.
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has often been critical of Otamendi’s passing skills and rash tackles. Pep has been linked with a number of defenders and that means Nico is no more an automatic choice for starting XI.
Moreover he has got little success with City since joining them in 2015 from Valencia in a £28.5m deal.
The 29-year-old Argentina International had an one year(2014-2015) stint in La Liga with Valencia and that would surely add more weights towards this proposed move to Santiago Bernabeu.
Nico’s agent Jorge Mendes is said to be well aware of the situation and already working on a deal to transfer his client to Los Blancos from Manchester City.
