West Ham showing interest in signing Arsenal forward Lucas Perez.
Lucas Perez may have just found an escape route from Arsenal with West Ham United are interested in signing the French forward in summer, 2018 as per reports.
Hammers’ boss Stevan Bilic is said to be a big admirer of the 28-year-old and has already enquired about his availability as reported in THE TIMES.
Perez joined Arsenal from Deportivo La Coruna in the summer of 2016 for a reported fee of £17 m but has been struggled for game time since. He has been restricted to just 11 appearances this season with just 2 PL starts.
Perez has scored 7 goals and notched up further 5 assists in 21 games in all competitions this season for the Gunners. Stevan Bilic is in need of quality forwards as all of his forwards had a nightmare of a season and Hammers’ highest scorer in this campaign is their midfielder Michail Antonio with 9 goals.
Perez is contracted to Arsenal till 2020. Arsenal rejected a reported £26 million bid from a Chinese Super League team this January.
AC Milan and Everton are also said to be monitoring the situation closely. So expect a 3-way tussle for the French forward in the upcoming summer transfer window.
