Alexandre Lacazette finally on the move?
Atletico Madrid preparing bid to sign Alexandre Lacazette.
Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette has been linked to several clubs around the past couple of transfer windows. But it’s looking like he is finally on the move.
Spanish Radio Station ‘COPE’ reports that La Liga outfit Atletico Madrid are interested in the French striker. According to them Atletico’s CEO met with Lacazette and his agent last month in Madrid.
Moreover a verbal agreement has already been reached between the two parties.
The only obstacle for Atletico are their transfer ban but they are hoping the ban to be lifted before the summer transfer window which will pave the way for Lacazette’s proposed move to the Vicente Calderon.
It’s also been rumoured that Lacazette’s French teammate Antoine Griezmann has played a huge role in this ongoing transfer saga.
The deal will come as a huge blow for Arsenal who were linked with Lacazette a number of times, latest of them being in last summer when Lyon rejected a £29.4m bid from the Gunners.
The 25-year-old striker has 28 goals in this season for Lyon appearing in 33 matches.
