Tottenham 6-0 Millwall: Son’s hattrick takes Spurs to Semi-Finals
Tottenham beat Millwall to reach Semi-finals of the FA Cup. Final Score Tottenham 6-0 Millwall.
Tottenham started the FA Cup clash between Tottenham and Millwall strongly with series of strong attack.
Harry Kane got the first open chance of the match at the 6th minute but his shot was not on target, he was tackled by Jake Cooper and he fell awkwardly. He was forced out to the sidelines for Treatment, Later Christian Eriksen came on substituting Kane.
It was a huge blow for Spurs as they will miss their top scorer, but they were looking stronger and were constantly attacking Millwall with their pacy attacks.
Tottenham appealed for a penalty in the 21 minute when Dele Alli was pulled over by Tony Craig inside the box but the penalty was not given by the referee.
Christian Eriksen scored the opener for Spurs at in the 31 minute when his first-time strike from Dele Alli’s pass find the back of the net.
Victor Wanyama came close to doubling the lead for Spurs in the 33 minute but his header from close range was deflected away by the woodwork.
Son Heung-min increased the advantage of Spurs by scoring in the 42 minute of the game, Son cut in from the right to powering a rocket into the far corner to increase Spurs lead to 2-0.
The first half ended and Spurs left the field with a 2-0 lead over Millwall, the second half started similar to first as Spurs started off with an attacking move.
Son Heung-min scored again for Spurs in the 54th minute to increase Spurs advantage to 3-0, Son Heung-min scored from a perfect volley from Kieran Trippier’s pass.
Dele Alli then increased Tottenham’s advantage to 4-0 when he scored a great goal from Christian Eriksen’s pass in the 70th minute of the game.
It was looking easy for Spurs as Vincent Janssen scored in the 73′ minute increase Tottenham’s lead to 5-0, Vincent Janssen scored from Son Heung-min’s pass.
Spurs wrapped up the match with a goal from Son, Son Heung-min completed his hat-trick in the 90th minute, Spurs beat Millwall by 6-0 and continues their FA Cup run to Semi-Finals.
