Manchester City beat Middlesbrough and continues their Cup run to next stage. Final score Manchester City 2-0 Middlesbrough.

Manchester City started the game strongly, they started the game with vicious attack over weak Middlesbrough team.



Manchester City took the lead in just three minutes after the kickoff when David Silva kept a cool head to score from Pablo Zabaleta’s pass.

Middlesbrough did create few promising move in the first half but they were lacking that quality in the final pass. They really came close to scoring when Middlesbrough’s Rudy Gestede meets a corner and heads at goal, It should have been a routine save for the goalkeeper but he fumbles the ball but City was lucky as Pablo Zabaleta clear the ball on the goal line to keep the score line 1-0.


David Silva had few chances to score his second goal but he was not lucky as his efforts were wide off target.The first half ended with a score line Middlesbrough 0-1Manchester City.

The second half was no different from the first as Manchester City were dominating the game and were constantly threatening the Middlesbrough defence.

Sergio Aguero had a great chance to increase City’s lead in the 54th minute but his shot was deflected off by the post.


Middlesbrough goalkeeper Brad Guzan made two great saves, first from David Silva’s curling shot and second from Leroy Sane’s 25-yard effort.

Brad Guzan was not helped by his defenders as Sergio Aguero scored the second goal for Manchester City, Brad could save this one as Aguero steers the ball home past Brad Guzan from six yards out.

Fabio had a chance to score for Middlesbrough but his header from Adama Traore’s cross was on target and Bravo did pull off a great save to kept it out but it was not enough as the ball fall in and John Stones slides in to clear the ball off the line.

Brad Guzan was playing at his best as he made some great save to deny Man City strikers, he made great save from Raheem Sterling’s shot to keep the scoreline 2-0 Man City.

The game ended with the scoreline Manchester City 2-0 Middlesbrough, City reaches the last four in the FA Cup while the Middlesbrough’s great FA Cup run ended.
