Gerard Pique backs Luis Enrique after fan booed
Barcelona defender Gerard Pique backs his boss Luis Enrique after fans booed him on Sunday after 2-1 home win over Leganes.
Barca star has backed his boss after a series of boo’s from angry Barcelona fans after a poor performance at home against Leganes on Sunday.
Barcelona are in tough time as they had to suffer a huge defeat against PSG by 4-0 and had a fight hard for a 2-1 win over lower table side Leganes.
The match against Leganes saw one of the weakest performance by Barcelona and this made the fans angry.The angry fans then booed their boss after the match.
Yesterday Pique came forward and backed his boss Enrique by saying that he is the soul of the club and the fans who booed him has a short-term memory.
“When Luis Enrique arrived we were in the absolute s***, ‘I would like that we remember all the work he has done with us and all that he did during his time as a player.”
“I can’t understand the booing, the short-term memory. It’s eight titles out of 10 with this coach. We are with him to the death”- Pique said.
