Real Madrid match against Celta vigo postponed due to Storm
Real Madrid’s fixture against Celta Vigo has been postponed due to security concerns after roof is blown off by storm at Estadio de Balaidos stadium.
A violent storm has been blowing through out the Spain and it did blew up the roof of Celta Vigo Estadio de Balaidos stadium.The stadium will not be fixed at time and the match has been postponed.
The storm blew up the area reserved for away fans and the the city’s mayor confirmed on Saturday that the stadium is not fit for the game and the match will not go ahead.
La Liga has officially conformed that the Real Madrid vs Celta Vigo match on Sunday has been postponed and said that the exact date for the fixture to be played is yet to be decided.
“Following a report from the city of Vigo, the organisation believes that Balaidos Stadium is not safe for spectators and players to attend on Sunday, February 5.”
“La Liga will propose possible dates to the clubs and broadcasters, and the president of the RFEF will decide on the matter”- an official statement read.
