Hull City beat Liverpool by 2-0
Liverpool’s bad start to the year 2017 continues as Hull City beat Liverpool by 2-0 on Saturday.
The year 2017 is not looking good for Klopp and his side Liverpool as the fave their face fourth defeat in five league and cup games as Hull City beat them by 2-0 in Premier League.
The goals were scored by N’Diaye (44′ minutes) and Niasse (84′ minutes) for Hull City while on the other side Liverpool did create few chances but were not able to score a goal.
Hull City loanee N’Diaye from Villarreal opened the scorecard for Hull City as he tapped home an easy goal after Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet dropped the ball at his feet.
Liverpool were playing a really bad game as they were not at their best and failed to force a single save in the first half.Even the return of the influential Sadio Mane to the starting line-up failed to inspire a revival.
The Reads started the second half strongly,they did create few chances and was finally able to test Jakupovic at Hull goal when Emre Can tried to level the cards by his diving header but it was saved by the Hull’s goalkeeper.
Coutinho had a golden chance to score at the 66th minute after he was left with a free strike six yards out but his shot was not good enough.
Oumar Niasse on loan from Everton scored the second goal for Hull and secure three points for his new club.It was his his first goal in the Premier League.
Hull City’s new manager Marco Silva have won all four home games,Hull are now at the 18th place with 20 points while Liverpool are now at 4th place with 46 points.
