Richard Stearman scored the first goal of the game only after 53 seconds for the visitors from a header from Helder Costa’s free-kick.
Andreas Weimann scored the second goal for Wolves to end Liverpool’s hopes,again Helder Costa played a major role in setting up the goal.
Divock Origi scored late on for Liverpool but that was not enough as Wolves held on to stun Liverpool and reach the FA Cup fifth round.
Liverpool have now lost three consecutive games at Anfield for the first time since October 2012 and Jurgen Klopp has suffered three consecutive home defeats as a manager for the first time since April 2007.
