Vineeth’s hattrick helps Bengaluru top regain top spot

C K Vineeth’s hat-trick against Mumbai FC helped the hosts Bengaluru FC to regain top spot, as they defeated the yellow brigades  for a score of 3-0.The Blues sits on top of the league table with 9 points from 3 games.

It was a fine evening in Bengaluru with the fans pouring into the stadium in large numbers to support the home side. The Blues were the dominant force from the start to the end.The blues had lot of the ball but failed to find the back of the net until the dying minutes of the first half. C K Vineeth scored the opening goal for the home side in the additional minutes of the first half.

Vineeth completed his hat-trick by scoring in the 57th and 65th minute of the game and sealed off the victory for the hosts.

Meanwhile in another exciting game of the same round of  fixture Kolkota giants East Bengal defeated Goan side Churchill Brothers 2-0. Hoakip and Ivan Bukenya scored for the the Red and Yellow Brigades.
