Arsenal vs PSG match end in a draw
The Champion League match between Arsenal and PSG end in a thrilling 2-2 draw and putting Arsenal in a struggle to finish top of their Champions League group.
The goals were scored by Cavani (18′ minutes) for PSG,Giroud (45’+1 minutes pen) for Arsenal and two own goals by Iwobi (77′ minutes og) and Verratti (60′ minutes og).
The game saw the most funniest moment in champion league history as players from both teams score own goal during the second half of the game.
Edinson Cavani started the score sheet for PSG from Blaise Matuidi’s cross.But Gunners came back with Giroud’s goal as he kept a cool head to score from a penalty spot.
Marco Verratti scored a own goal which gave Arsenal a 2-1 lead but Lucas’ header, which took a touch off Alex Iwobi made the score line 2-2.
This was the first time a Champions League match finished with more goals than shots on target since Rangers vs Unirea Urziceni in October 2009.
“We were resilient, we came back and we’ve done that many times this season. I believe we have the quality and the spirit on the bench now and that combination makes us remarkably resilient until the last minute”- Wenger said after the match.
