Chelsea beat Everton by 5-0 and become the league leaders as they are one point ahead of second placed Manchester City.
The goals were scored by Hazard (19′ minutes, 56′ minutes), Alonso (20′ minutes), Diego Costa (42′ minutes) and Pedro (65′ minutes) for Chelsea.
Everton started the match with three men at the back to block the 3-4-3 system that had earned Antonio Conte’s side four consecutive Premier League wins.Chelsea look a completely different team from the sluggish outfit that struggled under Jose Mourinho last season, and this performance was a real statement of intent.
The first goal of the game came from the boot of Hazard for Chelsea at 19’minute, converting for the fourth successive league game for the first time in his career.
Then after two minute Chelsea doubled the lead with Alonso,Diego Costa increased the advantage to 3-0 just before the half time.
Chelsea’s approach to the second half was just similar to first half as they continued attacking and against Hazard scored at the 56’minute to make the score line 4-0.
Pedro put the gloss on the result when he tapped into an empty net.
Everton spent the majority of the game penned in their own half and did not manage a shot on target in the entire 90 minutes as Chelsea produced a ruthless and dominant performance.
