Manchester City vs Middlesbrough match end in a draw
Middlesbrough scored at the dying end of the match to secure one point against Manchester City on Saturday.The match end in 1-1 draw as Agüero (43′ minutes) scored for City and de Roon (90’+1 minutes) scored for Middlesbrough.
City absolutely dominated the game at Eithad Stadium, but former Barcelona player Victor Valdes produced an inspired performance in the Boro goal to ultimately deny Pep Guardiola, with whom he enjoyed four glittering years in Catalonia.
Sergio Aguero puts City ahead at the first half of the game and City was dominating the game for most of the time from there as Boro defense was threatened by city’s attacks.
But during the dying end of the game Middlesbrough was putting pressure more and were rewarded with a goal as De Roon’s header from George Friend’s 91st-minute cross find the back of the net.
It was De Roon’s first goal and City was so unlucky that they missed two clear opportunities to score a winner one from Aguero and other from De Bruyne.
