Ronaldo accused of deliberately Stamping on Legia Warsaw defender
Cristiano Ronaldo is accused of deliberately stamping on Legia Warsaw defender Michal Pazdan in frustration on not able to score a goal.
Ronaldo who has struggled for form this season put in a noticeably off-colour performance in what was described as the ‘worst night in Madrid’s history’ by Spanish press.
And pictures have emerged of the Ballon d’Or favourite appearing to stamp on prone centre-half Michal Pazdan in the penalty box after spurning a late chance.
According to Catalan outlet Sport, the incident occurred in the 90th minute as Zinedine Zidane’s side chased a late winner.
Legia keeper Arkadiusz Malarz is seen appealing to Czech referee Pavel Kralovec but Ronaldo went unpunished.
