Eventon beat West Ham United by 2-0 and end their win less run.The goal were scored by R Lukaku (50′ minutes) and Barkley (76′ minutes) for Everton.The first half of the game was dry with very few open chances for both side.Everton were more adventurous after the break, with Lukaku, Bolasie and Barkley the bright lights as they put West Ham on the back foot.

Everton improved as the match progressed and Ross Barkley, under the microscope this season for some inconsistent performances, capped a fine display with a half-volley that secured the points for the hosts.West Ham, who had been unbeaten in October, had chances and were the better side in the first half but were left to rue Angelo Ogbonna’s miss, which could have given the visitors the lead.
Everton’s first win in five league games ensures they end the week in sixth position and sit just five points behind leaders Manchester City. Slaven Bilic’s men, meanwhile, stay 16th after what is already their sixth defeat of the season.
