Netherlands were not able to get possession of the ball all through out the first half. They were constantly attacked by France.

The midfielder has been heavily criticized for his poor form at Manchester United after his record-breaking transfer from Juventus. With one goal in seven games for the Premier League.

With a thunderous strike from 25 meters, Pogba fired Les Bleus to victory.France asserted their dominance with the help of Pogba.

The Frenchman was dominant in a way he has not been for Jose Mourinho‘s men so far this campaign. His passing was excellent and neat, he was strong and composed on the ball and no opponents could really get near him. He owned everything around the centre of the park.

France now sit level with Sweden, who recorded a 3-0 win over Bulgaria, at the top of the table after three games, while they have now recorded three straight wins over the Dutch for the first time in their history.
