Google pixel specs, price, release date. The end of Nexus?
Google is set to reveal two new phones at their event on October 4 in San Francisco the Pixel and Pixel XL .Rumours suggest that the device will be manufactured by HTC.
Both the phones sport a 12MP rear camera, 8MP front-facing camera, support for USB-C and it has a headphone jack. The Pixel will sport a 5in, Full HD AMOLED display and the Pixel XL will have a 5.5in, 2,560 x 1,440 AMOLED display, both phones is likely to have the Snapdragon 821 processor clocked at 1.59GHz and 4GB RAM, along with a back-mounted fingerprint sensor. The Pixel is equipped with a 2770mAh battery and Pixel XL has a larger 3450mAh battery capacity.
These devices are likely to be running Android 7.1, an unreleased version of Android Nougat.Both Pixel phones will almost certainly support the Google’s own Daydream VR platform, which is expected to be fully launched at the event.
The Pixel is rumoured to be priced at a starting price of Rs 45000 ($649) for the 32GB base model. According to Android Police the phones could come in three colors aluminum, black and bright blue colors.
