The flagship premium model which is the Moto Z has a Snapdragon 820 processor,4GB of RAM, weighs 136g and is the thinnest samartphone on the planet. Running Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, the Moto Z features a fingerprint scanner on the home button, sports a USB Type-C port, and doesn’t include the 3.5mm headphone jack, and a choice of 32GB or 64GB of storage, which is expandable via microSD card (up to 2TB). It sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS) and laser autofocus, and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with front flash. The Moto Z Play which is a mid range model has a Snapdragon 625 processor, 3GB of RAM and a 16MP camera (though a higher number, it doesn’t have optical stabilization and has a smaller aperture). It’s thicker, so there actually is a headphone jack and it weighs 165g. The screen is only full HD with a 1920 x 1080 resolution and 403 pixels per inch, meaning compared to the Moto Z it’s not as sharp and apps like YouTube will max out at 1080p (instead of 1440p). The device also features a 3510mAh battery, which is considerably larger than that of the Moto Z . A Turbo Power charger will be included with both the devices, giving you up to 8 hours of usage with 15 minutes of charging, as per the company’s claims.

Expected price of the Moto Z is just above Rs 40000 ($650) and just below Rs 30000($450) for the Moto Z Play. Both the phones support Moto mods like JBL sound boost, Battery pack by Incipio etc which snaps on to the back of the phone.
